Monday Morning Surf Club!

Pulling into closeouts on low tide!

From the beach it looked like the waves had a nice shape to them and it did not seem quite as big as forecasted, so we decided to head to the left ‘lushingtons’ area, where the waves tend to be a little more hollow and consistent.

However lots of water moving around made it difficult to line up, and hard to read the sets, with waves breaking all over the place. Despite a lot of closeouts and fast breaking waves everyone seemed pretty happy to go on whatever came their way! This made for some fun viewing as for every corner ridden, there were 3 or 4 closeouts and people getting caught out by the quickly changing tide.

Everyone ended up making a couple of waves, making the most of the tricky conditions!

Chris was surfing his 6’8 Riser wooden surfboard.

Matt was surfing his 6’4 Woodburner wooden surfboard.

Max was surfing our 7’2 Coaster wooden surfboard.

James was surfing his 5’10 Fetch wooden surfboard.

See you next week!
