When the conditions, surfers and cameras all align…
You might recognise this session as the most recent Monday Morning Surf Club, where James surfed his 9’1 Wicket wooden surfboard and Chris and Ally went sliding on the Performance wooden bellyboard.
We had a few comments regarding the dreamyness of the clip, featuring a number of tiny, glassy, offshore peelers…
So we decided to share the still images we captured during the filming.
These photos tell the story of the session, showing the beautiful wave shape that we saw, peaking up and reeling for a few breaths, before the surface returned to it’s calm, mirror like state.
It was a privilege to witness the gentle energy as the waves appeared, providing fun little sections for us all regardless of the type of wave-craft we were surfing.
We were spoiled with 3-4 per set, which we tried our damndest to make the most of, with James paddling to the bumps out back, and Chris and Ally waiting patiently for the hollow inside sections.
We hope you enjoy!
Yeheew!
