Monday Morning Surf Club!

11 . 03 . 26

With the local looking a little washy we headed down the coast…

It turned out to be the right call, as we suited up we watched peeler after peeler reeling along in front of the car park, a good sign so we crossed our fingers the spot would continue to work through high-tide.

The calm conditions lulled us into a false sense of security as we were all caught inside a few times by the sets which came without warning and were much more powerful than anticipated, it’s fair to say we got pretty rattled on a few energy sapping duck dives.

It was worth the effort as every now and then we found ourselves in the ideal take-off spots for open faced waves.

James harnessed the speed of the 9’1 Wicket, finding the high line and going the distance.

Sean had joined us for the first time and gelled well with the 5’10 Fetch, taking some steep drops and pumping to make the most of the fast closing walls.

We hope you enjoy the footage!
