With the forecast looking tasty for Wednesday and the free availability of our Chris, we couldn’t resist waiting a couple of days for our weekly dip. We headed down the coast and jumped in just as the tide started to go out, crossing our fingers that we’d all make it out back unscathed.
There was a heavy rip and lots of water moving around, a very shifty peak meant it was more by luck than judgement but we were lucky enough to find ourselves in the right spot a few times to take on some heaving walls of water.
Max took on some late drops on the 6’2 Swift. Chris joined him a little further inside on his 6’8 Riser. And James scored a couple of lovely rides on his 9’1 Wicket.
The waves were mostly close outs but luckily for us the surfers went on everything that came their way, making for a very entertaining video, we hope you enjoy!
All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves. Custom made or make your own.
