New Wooden Surfboard Pick-Up

17 . 07 . 24

Christopher dropped in this week to pick up the wooden surfboard he made with us back in May…

The last time Christopher saw the wooden surfboard he had just spent 5 days making, was on the trestles after its final sand, with a fresh stamp and a neatly singed sign off.

Since then his 9’4 Seasaw has been up to Wadebridge to be glassed by our friend Paul with a high gloss and glass-on, matching wood lay-up fin.

This was the full circle moment when Christopher would be seeing the finish for the first time, picking his masterpiece up and feeling it under his arm, before sliding his new wooden surfboard into its cover, ready for its first trip to the beach.

We can’t wait to hear about the first surf, paddling out a wooden surfboard made by his own two hands, which is sure to be a special experience!

If you would like to join us, just like Christopher, to make your own wooden surfboard, click here!

All of our wooden surfboards are made using sustainable wood, from local, regenerative woodlands, for a lifetime of waves.
