This week Eleanor popped in to pick up the wooden surfboard she made with us back in May…
The last time Eleanor saw her 6’4 Woodburner she had just set down the sanding block after spending 5 days with us making and shaping.
The board was then sent up to our friend Paul, who finished if off by adding a sheet of fibreglass, some bio-epoxy and a couple of fin boxes. Once he had buffed the fresh new wooden surfboard to a fine gloss, it was ready to be sent back to the Otter workshop and the full circle pick up moment could be arranged with Eleanor.
We can’t wait to hear how Eleanor gets on with her new wooden surfboard, we hope it’s an amazing experience to paddle out on something she made with her own two hands, here’s to a lifetime of waves!
