Follow The Making This Week

25 . 03 . 26

AJ has joined us for 5 days to make his very own 7’4 Island Hopper…

So far we have seen the internal frame of the surfboard fixed down to the bottom skin, and building around the frame using thin strips of Cedar nesting on top of each other.

The next steps will involve the nose and tail blocks being introduced and the rest of the board being prepped for the top skin to be fixed down.

The blank will then be shaped during Thursday and Friday.

All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves. Custom made or make your own.
