Father and Son; Robby and Alfie have joined us for 5 days to make their own wooden surfboards!
A special half term week for our two newest workshoppers, spending 5 days together making a wooden surfboard each.
Robby is making a 9’8′ Cali Log, and Alfie is making himself a 5’10 Fetch.
Monday was spent assembling the internal frames and gluing them down to the bottom skins.
You can follow the progress on our Facebook Instagram or LinkedIn and watch how the surfboards are built up around the frames to create a blank and then shaped.
By Friday afternoon we will be looking at 2 fresh new sustainable wooden surfboards, ready for a lifetime of waves!
