We found some fun in the sun!
With huge conditions hitting the North Coast, and local beaches looking pretty unsurfable, we decided to look for some shelter.
After checking a couple of spots we jumped in off some rocks at high-tide, hoping that we would start to see some waves form as the water backed off from the cliffs.
The gamble paid off and the waiting was worth it, as a few sets came rolling through in the sunshine.
James and Max, on their 6’4 Woodburner and 5’10 Fetch respectively, made the most of the lurchy, unpredictable waves and showed that the trip had been worth the effort.
