Monday Morning Surf Club!

On the hunt for shelter we found some surprisingly hollow treats…

It’s not often we get waves like this at our local beach breaks, but James gave it his all!

With the wind offshore and a little backwash, it made getting into waves early fairly difficult. A critical drawn out bottom turn was needed in order to get along the face, with the waves bottoming out making the angled takeoff ineffective.

With a little more practice the 6’2 Swift will be the ideal surfboard for the job.

More bails than makes, but loads of fun and awesome to be humbled by the sea, here’s to more gnarly conditions in the new year!

All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves. Custom made or make your own.
