Monday Morning Surf Club!

31 . 10 . 23

Not many options around for us at high tide as there was a big swell and lots of water moving around at Porthtowan, so we headed for some shelter…

We lucked in to a few waves once the tide started to turn, here’re Ally’s thoughts on the session:

“When we first got to the beach there were no waves breaking as the tide was too high, we only had a tight window so we opted to paddle out anyway in hope that they would start breaking. We didn’t have to wait long and the surfers did really well to catch the barely breaking waves and get a little ride before they closed out on the inside, ideally we would have stayed in to get the benefit of the dropping tide, but we were all happy to have had a float around on such a beautiful morning!”
