Another great morning of waves, this time a little bigger with an offshore wind at high tide Porthtowan, check out the video and James’s thoughts on a fun surf…
Here are some words from James about the session:
‘I loved watching the lines rolling in, you could see the peaks shifting from quite far away and I was hoping they would swing towards us. It was a beautiful morning, we are so lucky to see the sun rise every Monday. It was definitely bigger than we thought it would be, but the waves often backed off quite a bit, making it friendlier than it looked. It was really fun to be surfing with Gani, who caught some nice waves, and we also had a little seal pup swim up close to see what was going on, probably the closest a seal has every got to us, I was just happy it wasn’t their dad who we also saw lurking!’.
James was riding our 5’10 Fetch and Gani was on our 7’2 Coaster.

Things did not go quite as planned this morning, but we stumbled across a little barrel on the sand, all to ourselves!
