A mission to the South Coast…
A big swell and high winds meant Porthtowan was blown out and very unfriendly, so we made the decision to drive to the south coast, not really knowing what we might find. After checking a couple of spots we found ourselves at Marazion, with the waves looking ideal for our 9’1 Wicket, and after being joined by our friend Andy on his 7’2 Coaster, we paddled out and shared some lovely long slow breaking walls.
A very different experience to surfing our home beach, but no less fun!
