Monday Morning Surf Club!

03 . 03 . 25

A chunky, fun packed, high-tide surf…

After checking the forecast we knew it had the potential to be pretty big at the bottom of the hill this morning, and rolling up to the beach we could see the tops of the waves from beyond the dunes!

As the sun peeked over the cliffs and the tide receded, the lumps of water pushing towards the shore were becoming more and more powerful and after a rolling start, the lip threw over and made takeoffs challenging, the earlier in the better.

Chris and James made the most of what was available, and despite multiple bails and mountains of water on the head, they managed some lovely drops and turns in amongst the wash.

We hope you enjoy!

Chris was surfing his 6’8 Riser wooden surfboard.

James was surfing his trusty 9’1 Wicket wooden surfboard.

All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves.
