Monday Morning Surf Club!

30 . 04 . 25

Some hollow treats on offer this morning at high tide, pulling into sandy barrels…

The forecast indicated that this could be a pretty special surf, and it did not disappoint!

When we got to the beach there was a nice peak around the middle of the lineup, which quickly shifted around as the spring tide receded, offering up some nice walls if you were in the right spot. Some staying open, some not so much.

James had some luck on the outside, paddling into waves early on his 9’1 Wicket, which allowed him to highline and race the sections, even squeezing in a couple of turns as he hooned towards the beach.

Usually on the way to mid tide things can become a little fat and difficult to read, luckily for us waves began to break on a sand bank, providing some sizable, almost makeable left hand barrels.

Max was in his element as he pulled into absolutely everything that came his way on our 5’10 Fetch, and with the sun beaming down on us, we couldn’t have asked for a better session!

“One of my best ever surfs, the Fetch got me into the waves easily and I’m really starting to get a feel for it”

Thanks Max, you can come again!
