Monday Morning Surf Club!

07 . 10 . 24

On the search for waves again… just round the corner there was a treat in store!

The forecast for Monday morning was an intimidating 8-10 foot at 13 seconds with a southerly wind, usually a little too large for Porthtowan, but we checked it anyway, and after witnessing a gigantic set roll in, we decided that despite it being hightide, it was not safe to surf.

Upon arrival at the next spot we saw the same big waves, but a little more organised with a chance of some epic rides off of the harbour wall, a perfect bodysurfing opportunity! We jumped in and enjoyed a great session, with some waves walling up beautifully, many of them surprisingly makeable, and worth the beatings!

Chris, James and Ally all took a turn filming and sharing around a Bob and Rounded Pin bodysurfing handplane.

See you next week!
