Monday Morning Surf Club!

Closeouts for breakfast…

As we arrived at the beach the tide was receding to its lowest point, which meant little shelter from the gusty winds and all around messy conditions. So we headed around the corner in the hope of a more orderly set up.

It turned out to be pretty busy, with a handful of surfers competing for few peaks which often turned into long walls of water quite rapidly, closing down on the sand.

We paddled out with a couple of friends and got in amongst it, going for anything that came our way, hoping against hope that the waves would stay open long enough for a turn or two.

Lucky we were with Max and Gani who don’t mind too much about dropping into multiple closeouts, and this makes for excellent viewing, we hope you enjoy!

Max and Gani swapped between our 6’4 Woodburner and 6’2 Swift and James surfed our 7’2 Roller Coaster.

All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves. Custom made or make your own.
