Everything here at the Otter workshop is made from the rough sawn timber planks that rest just outside our big blue doors, which means all of our handcrafted custom wave-craft are given a considered window in which to be created.
You can see an example of the process here in this clip of one of our handplanes being made.
We usually work on a 4-6 week lead time when making custom bellyboards, paipos and bodysurfing handplanes, this allows for enough time for Chris, James or Ally to process, make and shape products that meet our high standards for workmanship and wave riding.
