There is a lot of swell about at the moment in Cornwall, but also a lot of wind, luckily Monday morning gave us a little window of calm and it was all about finding spots that hadn’t been too affected by the stormy conditions.
After some deliberating we took a chance and headed towards St Ives, watching the swell lines from the van as we navigated the coastal roads.
A short walk along the cliffs gave us a good perspective of the incoming tide, and the conditions turned out to be fairly friendly, head high on the sets with a few peelers sneaking through amongst the close outs.
As always James managed to stoke into a couple of gems from out back on his 9’1 Wicket. Max and Gani had some luck on the inside on their 5’10 Fetch and 7’2 Coaster.
A great start to the week!
