With storm Isha bearing down on us, it was a pretty easy call to stay on land, check the conditions with us!
We were greeted by 50 mile ph+ winds and a 14ft swell, not ideal conditions for where we are on the north coast of Cornwall. But that didn’t stop us watching the waves just in case! You can get some idea by watching the surge at the end of the video, how much water was moving around. Paddling out and positioning would have been near impossible, Porthtowan can’t handle the size and we would not have been able to handle the beatings we would have been sure to get!
Fingers crossed for some calmer conditions next week!
