Northerly winds and a low tide didn’t give us much hope, but yet again the bellyboards came to the rescue!
We headed to the left of the beach where there tends to be a fast hollow wave, despite the fact that the wind seemed to have made the surface very messy, hoping that there may still be some fun in the shore break to be had. We lucked in to a few runners and a couple of heavier double ups, giving weight to the phrase ‘it’s always worth getting in!’.
