A total contrast to the huge waves we had last week, however we were well prepared…
With the forecast telling us that we should not be expecting much of a wave, we crossed our fingers and threw every type of surf-craft available into the van and set off for the beach at the bottom of the hill from our workshop.
Upon arrival we couldn’t see much in terms of surfable shapes, as the tide was dropping, however there was a glimmer of hope as the whitewater, visible from the van, meant that there was something out there!
Once we were in the water it became clear that we have bellyboarded in much smaller conditions, and we were excited to see some waves standing up every now and again in amongst the chop. It turned out to be a really fun session, with plenty of belly slides and laughs shared between us.
Chris, Ally and James swapped between our Traditional and Performance models of bellyboard.
See you next Monday!
