Monday Morning Surf Club!

10 . 02 . 25

A change from the stormy conditions of the last few weeks, but we still managed to find a little wave…

Northerly winds and a small swell meant the North Coast did not look appealing this morning, so we hedged our bets on a south coast mission, and were confident we would find a surfable wave.

After checking a few spots and seeing nothing but calm flat sea, we were about to call it quits… until a tiny peak popped up and a glassy waist high wave peeled across right in front of our eyes, the tide had dropped out enough for us to give it a go!

Not knowing which would be the best wave-craft we took a longboard and a bellyboard into the mix to see which would fair better. James stroked into a few lovely drops out back, while Chris and Ally took turns pulling into tiny barrels on the inside.

It was totally worth the long hunt, and waiting and watching paid off handsomely!

Lets see what next week brings!

All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards and bellyboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands and are intended for a lifetime of waves.
