After seeing some swell lines on his way into the workshop, James was hopeful we would find a few corners on our surfboards today, but once we checked the beach close up, we realised that all the waves were hitting a sandbank and staying mostly straight, closing out.
Luckily we had the Paipo in the van, so we could make the most of a super dumpy and shallow window of waves.
The pictures capture moments of glassy calm, but in reality the session was pretty chaotic, trying to pull in but also avoid the inevitable beatings!
We hope you enjoy!
