New Wooden Surfboard Pick-up!

Back in February Emily’s dad David, had joined us to make a very special wooden surfboard, which would become a surprise present for his daughter.

David made an 8’2 Pieces of Eight, knowing that Emily had been surfing longboards whilst out in Spain, but was wanting a slightly smaller board with more controllability, whilst still having the benefits of longboarding, such as paddle speed and wave catching-ability.

Emily was stoked when she heard about her surprise a few weeks ago, and arranged to pick up her new surfboard whilst travelling around Cornwall climbing with her boyfriend.

Hopefully it won’t be long before we hear how Emily gets on surfing her new board!
