At the start of the summer, just as the days were starting to draw out but the evenings were still cold as the sun set, James was invited to speak at Talisker’s Wilderness Bar.
Perched on the edge of a high cliff on the North Devon coast, Talisker (a whisky distillery on the Isle of Skye) had set up their incredible copper Wilderness Bar for an evening of talks around the campfire. James had been invited to share his story with the small, invited audience, alongside the Outdoor Swimming Society’s founder Kate Rew, trans-Atlantic rower Laura Try, Dan and Jade Scott from Dorset coastal adventure company Fore/Adventure, and our friend Tom Kay of Finisterre.
