5’6″ Seadar

Description

A hollow wooden interpretation of the recently revitalized Bob Simmons inspired planing hull design, the Seadar is a light-weight board designed for speed in small-to-medium waves and down the line point break style waves.

Short, fat and wide throughout with the classic twin keel fins, the Seadar is best planked entirely in Western Red Cedar to reduce weight. It will paddle into waves easily and is a fast board, particularly in down-the-line situations.

5’6″ x 22″ x 2 5/8″ – 32.4 l

Best ridden as a twin fin.

From £3,600.00

“My heart beats fast when I remember this session. It was the first time that I fell in love with the Seadar. She was truly in her element. It was one of the best surfing days of my life; quick hollow empty tubes.”

– Matt Smith, Maldives

With a low tail rocker and a little flip in the nose, a shallow belly in the front and a single concave that runs out of the tail, the Seadar planes with incredible speed.

Full, rounded rails through the middle allow us to keep plenty of float in the center of the board, which foils out dramatically towards the tail. All designed for catching waves easily and getting going as quickly as you can.
