Robby and Alfie recently spent the week with us making wooden surfboards, here they are to tell you all about it…
This was a half term like no other for Robby and Alfie, a special week for them to spend some quality time and make wooden surfboards.
Alfie goes to school in Switzerland where he lives with his mum, and with Robby living in the UK it means they don’t often get to see each other as much as they might like. Surfing often brings them together, and they have enjoyed a few surf trips abroad and many visits to the West Country.
Robby made a 9’8 Cali Log which he hopes to surf in 2-3 foot peeling waves when the conditions are offshore on the North Coast of Cornwall, ideally sharing waves with Alfie who will be on his 5’10 Fetch.
We are stoked to be part of this Father and Son’s surfing journey, soon to be sharing waves on wooden surfboards that they made side by side!
