With the sea still stormy, we did our best to find some shelter…
The forecast showed a lot of wind, swell and storminess that we would not often associate with a good surf, but we had an idea that we may find some shelter on the incoming tide at the next beach along.
Chris and James did a great job at paddling out in the rough conditions and managed to find the odd ride with some shape in amongst the heaving close outs and lumpy, lurching set waves.
Needless to say, the early coffee helped and all in all we were glad to have gotten in!
Chris was surfing his 6’8 Riser wooden surfboard.
James was surfing his 5’10 Fetch wooden surfboard.
All of our sustainable, hollow wooden surfboards are made using wood from local, regenerative woodlands are intended for a lifetime of waves.
See you next week!
