Sustainable Wooden Surfboard Shapes: The 6’4 Cutter

Inspired by the fast boats that plied the inshore waters around Cornwall. A well proportioned board with clean, classic lines that belie it’s ample volume, it is a fast board which begs for high line speed runs and drawn out carves.

6’4″ x 20 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ – 34.5 l

Designed for fast, smooth surfing, the Cutter has a relatively low rocker line that couples with a single to double concave to give you incredible speed.

Then the rounded tail allows you to roll from rail to rail to sweep through turns to manage, and make the most of, the flat line speed.

We have kept the volume in the centre of the board for paddling speed, but pinched the rails to give greater control when you roll the board onto each rail.
