We were joined over the weekend by Phil, Sue and Matt who came to make some alternative wooden wave-craft…
After a cup of tea and choosing their desired shapes, our new workshoppers set about sawing the outlines and getting to grips with our Japanese pull saws and saw rasps.
Next came the shaping and rounding over the rails, noses and tails and a pasty lunch before sanding to a finish.
A great way to spend a Saturday resulting in 3 new sustainable wooden wave-craft for the next trip to the beach!
