Last week we were joined by George, Nick and Henry for a one day workshop experience…
Our 1 day making courses are a great opportunity to get used to the tools and techniques we use to make our hollow wooden surfboards, and the result is smaller wave-craft which are perfect additions to beach day fun.
Nick spent the day making a Paipo featuring a double sandwich wood lay-up, Harry made a Performance style Bellyboard with a fish tail and George made a Rounded Pin Handplane.
Following a few coats of oil, these fine folks with now have the experience of jumping into the ocean with sustainable wave-craft that they made themselves!
