A few changes have been afoot at Otter Surfboards this week…if you browse around our site you’ll see that the first of the Autumnal updates have appeared in the form of some new workshops that we’ll be running here. We will now be running one-day workshops for handplanes (£110) and bellyboards (£140) on select Saturdays throughout the year, so you’ll be able to come in and spend a day with us producing a lovely wooden sled to enhance your enjoyment of the waves.
In the run-up to the World Bellyboarding Championships, which will be taking place this Sunday the 8th of September at Chapel Porth, James has laminated up and shaped a number of bellyboards to display alongside our surfboards and handplanes. If you’re going to be there on Sunday then please stop by our stand to have a chat and if you’re interested then we’d love to tell you more about the workshops that we run. We’re hoping that next year’s winner might be riding an Otter bellyboard that they cut out and shaped themselves here in Cornwall.
