We’re closing the doors to the workshop next week (w/c Monday 16th September), loading the van and driving up to the Big Smoke. It seems that Autumn is fast become a bi-polar season for us at Otter Surfboards, divided between the empty beaches and groundswells of the South West and various events up in the capital. Next week we’ll be at 100% Design with the two projects that have been shortlisted for The Wood Awards being exhibited on their stand.
100% Design is the largest event of the London Design Festival and 30,000 visitors are expected to pass through the event at Earls Court between September 18th and 21st. The London Design Festival celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world and this year is its tenth birthday. There will be events all over the city next week featuring designers, makers and creative talent from across the UK, and it’s truly an honour to be playing a small part in such a celebration of British Design and to be flying the flag for surfing.
