Since 2010 we’ve helped over a hundred people to make their own wooden surfboards, and our workshop courses are far and away our favourite weeks every year.
Over five days, you’ll build the surfboard of your choosing alongside a maximum of two other people, with us guiding you through each step of the process. No previous experience or aptitude for making is necessary; we break everything down into bite-size chunks and support you at all times.
The raw materials for your surfboard will have been prepped before you start (the noisy, dusty bits), so your job is to construct your surfboard and shape it. We then take it a short distance up the road to the best surfboard laminator in the UK, who finishes your surfboard ready to be splashed in the sea. To round things off, we can either work out delivery for your board or you can come and collect it and join us for a surf.
We have a list of recommended local accommodation, so if you need somewhere close-by to stay please contact us and we'll send it your way.
If you're thinking of purchasing a workshop, we are happy to break the payments down into more manageable chunks. Simply pick the 'pay via payment plan' option below.
